Ms. Dana Vanderhorst has been an integral key part of HBA, Inc. since it first opened its doors in 1973 and continues to provide excellent residential appraisals for personal use such as establishing a selling price or for mortgage purposes.

Dana received her associate degree in business management in 1967.  Since that time, she served many years under Harry Boblit establishing herself in the real estate appraising industry while maintaining the operations of the office.

In 1993, she received her residential license from the State of Ohio when it became mandatory to complete appraisal reports for all federal related transactions. Dana is presently the owner, the general manager, and the primary appraiser for HBA, Inc.  She focuses her efforts on the residential market including single-family residences, multi-family dwellings, and condominiums.   She welcomes new clients and the challenges that come along with establishing new relationships.

Mark Vanderhorst started working for HBA, Inc. in May, 1984.  

Mark’s primary task with the office has always been to keep the technology and the computer systems in the office up-to-date and running smoothly.   This responsibility includes and not limited to maintaining the computer hardware and software, the local area networks, and the processing of the electronic appraisal reports.

Mark has the experience and knowledge to assist in the appraisal process including technical writing, the inspection of the properties, locating and accessing market data for comparable sales, and taking photographs of the comparable sales used in the appraisal report.
