Ms. Dana Vanderhorst was an integral part the establishment of HBA, Inc. since it first opened its' doors in 1973 and continues to provide excellent residential appraisals for personal use such as establishing a selling price, or for financial purposes.

Dana received her associate degree in business management in 1967.  Over the next decade, she served her apprenticeship under her late father,  Harry Boblit Jr., establishing herself in the real estate appraising industry while maintaining the operations of the office.

In 1993, she received her Residential License from the State of Ohio when it became mandatory to complete appraisal reports for all federal related transactions. She has been in the appraisal field for over 30 years giving her outstanding knowledge and experience in Sidney and West Central Ohio.  You are welcome to verify Dana's information with the Appraisal Subcommittee 'National Registry' by clicking HERE.

Dana focuses her efforts on the residential sector including single-family residences, multi-family dwellings, and condominiums.   She welcomes new clients, and the challenges that come along with establishing new associations.

Mark Vanderhorst started working for HBA, Inc. in May, 1984.

Mark’s primary task with the office has always been to keep the technology and the computer systems in the office up-to-date and running smoothly.   This responsibility includes and not limited to maintaining the computer hardware and software, the local area networks, and the processing of the electronic appraisal reports.

 In 2010,  Mark continues to provides Dana with assistance as requested. He has the experience and knowledge to assist in the appraisal process including technical writing, the inspection of the properties, locating and accessing market data for comparable sales, and taking photographs of the comparable sales used in the appraisal report.
