HBA, Inc. utilizes the latest appraisal software provided by alamode, Inc.   This all in one software titled 'Aurora'  makes it possible to complete an appraisal report in a timely fashion containing all necessary data including but not limited to location and flood map data, geocodes the subject property, and provides the proximity of the comparable properties used in the market analysis.

Apex v3 is the latest appraisal integrated sketch program, which allows us to complete a well designed interior and exterior view of the property including the dimensions and room layout.

Exterior and Interior measurements are taken using a Leica Disto 'Classic' Laser Measuring Device.  The Disto can measure up to a distance of 650 feet with an accuracy up to 0.06 of an inch with a simple click of a button.

Digital Photographs are taken using a variety of Kodak Digital cameras.   This technology enables us to take interior end exterior photographs for our records and as requested by clients, which helps to verify the data  gathered during the appraisal process such as room layout, the neighborhood, and overall condition of the subject property, etc.

Our electronic appraisal reports are created using PDF-Exchange 3.5 and Adobe Acrobat.   The file contains a complete appraisal report including a digital signature and 128-bit security protection.

The computer systems throughout the office are up to date using both the AMD and Pentium 4 processors, running under Windows XP with service pack 2 including all the necessary security enhancements,   and the Windows Live OneCare security system protecting our internet access, which is provided by Sprint Business DSL services with download speeds up to 3 megabyte of data per second.
